7global and Blue Tangent Partner to Deliver EMC Documentum On-Demand

New partnership to uniquely provide a hosted version of the EMC Documentum Enterprise Content Management platform and create new On-Demand market for Blue Tangent.

London, UK – December 4th, 2006 – 7global, the Managed Services Company (www.7global.com) has today announced a partnership with Blue Tangent, a systems integration consultancy specialising in EMC Documentum products, to deliver the EMC Documentum enterprise content management (ECM) platform using an On-Demand delivery model.

The decision to offer EMC Documentum On-Demand follows a growing market change in the way that organisations want to purchase software. Instead of assuming responsibility for the software implementation and ongoing management of the solution, customers are looking at alternative models of application delivery. Software On-Demand is today an exploding market that is forecast to reach US$10.7B by 2009, (Source; IDC).

7global is an early pioneer in delivering Software On-Demand and helps dozens of software vendors deliver their applications in this way.
